Dr. Ioannis Kalaitzidis - Professor of Psychology | PhD | Research Associate
Dr. Ioannis Kalaitzidis is an Assoc. Professor of Psychology at Deree – The American College of Greece. He holds a Ph.D. from Macquarie University, Sydney. He also holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, as well as a B.Sc. in Education from the University of Patras.
In Sydney, he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Medical School and the Department of International Studies at Macquarie University. He founded the "Center for Applied Research in Neuroplasticity," a research center dedicated to developing applications for cognitive training.
In Greece, in addition to his teaching and research activity at Deree, he founded ReMindSet — a practice dedicated to diagnosis and counseling support in areas such as memory problems, learning difficulties, postpartum depression, and personal development.
Upon his return to Greece, he also contributed to the design and establishment of the newly founded Elementary School of The American College of Greece | Pierce, where he served as its first Principal.
